De Sciglio joined Milan as a youngster and went on to make his professional debut in 2011. By the end of following season, he had become a regular in the line-up, being able to play on both sides of the field. De Sciglio has represented the Italy national team and Italy U21 national team, and also played for the Italy U19 national team. He made his senior international debut in March 2013, in a friendly match against Brazil.
